Shop Policies

In today’s online shopping market, I believe transparency should be the highest regarded customer value. That’s why I've clearly outlined all of my shop policies below. Feel free to contact me with questions.

Shipping and Delivery

  • In-stock items are shipped within three days of receiving your order, but most will be on the same day.

  • Items 'made to order' will be shipped just as soon as they are finished.

  • You will receive an email telling you when your order is on its way.

  • I try to reuse boxes and packaging to cut down on waste, but this is not always possible due to lack of storage space.

  • I go to great lengths to ensure your item arrives safely.

  • One customer wrote, "Beautifully made, and packaged like Fort Knox!"

  • Each parcel is gift wrapped, often with a little extra ceramic tag.

  • I use Royal Mail mostly, but sometimes a courier if that's a better option.

  • All parcels are sent second class standard post.  I do not offer tracking as this makes it too expensive.

  • However, if you specifically wish to upgrade to tracking, please message me.

  • I ship worldwide.  Overseas orders may be liable for import duties/local taxes/handling charges.

  • The buyer is liable for these.

  • Any overcharge (over £2.00) on shipping costs will be refunded to you once your package is in transit.

  • I do not want to profit on shipping costs!


  • I want you to love your pottery.

  • So if you are unhappy with your purchases for any reason, I will give a refund if required (minus your shipping fees), once the item has been returned to me, unused and in saleable condition.

  • Return postage will be paid by you.

  • Returns must be made within seven days of receipt of goods after contact has been made with me.

  • Very rarely, an item may break in transit  - obviously a full refund or replacement will be arranged in that case. 

  • On receipt of your order, if you have any problems, please contact me, via the contact form here, or on Instagram messages.

  • Customised/personalised items cannot be returned or exchanged.


  • I accept payment via Paypal and direct credit card. Most major credit cards can be used on Paypal and you do not need to have a paypal account to do so.

  • Payment for all items is made up front, including pieces which are 'made to order'.

  • Briefly - any personal information you provide to me is never shared with anyone else.

  • Your address details, email address, etc are solely so that I can send you your order and contact you if I need to.

  • Payments to this shop are handled by Paypal or Wix payments. I do not have access to your payment card details.

  • I use social media (Instagram mostly) to update on my pottery making, and you can see lots of ceramics work-in-progress photos there.

Please be aware

  • I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of my items, but I cannot guarantee that your individual laptop/phone's display of any colour will be accurate.

  • Also, please check the dimensions of the item in the product description.

Intellectual Property Rights:

  • All images and words and other content on this website are the sole property of Catherine Daniel Ceramics and may not be used by any third party for any purpose.
